The famous Texas barbeque joint, “Rudy’s,” has finally come to the Allen area. With more than 15 locations in the state, it seemed only a matter of time before “Rudy’s” famous barbeque and homemade barbeque “Sause” came within reach of local residents.
Founded in 1929 by Max Aue in Leon Springs, TX, “Rudy’s” has been a “down home” barbeque diner, country store, and gas station for more than 100 years. With its roots in the rural Hill Country of Texas, it’s not surprising that Rudy’s found a home next to the fairly new outdoor superstore, Cabela’s.
“Rudy’s Country Store and Bar-B-Q” can be found at 1790 N. Central Expressway in Allen, TX on the edge of “The Village at Allen.”
